ABSTRACT
This paper aims at providing an overview of the initial work on specification of a video phone for the IBIDEM project and a discussion on possible applications of such a device. The video phone is based on a new generation of space variant imaging sensor. The concept of space variant sensing in robotics vision will be introduced. The process of generating a space variant lay out will be described. The design of the system and the possible uses will be discussed. |
